Freight With Protection

When you arrange freight through Garage, you get the benefit of working with our trusted carriers and having our team oversee the process from start to finish.

  • If a buyer arranges their own freight — or uses freight services provided by the seller — Garage is not responsible for the delivery of the truck.

  • In those cases, we cannot guarantee delivery timing, condition, or any aspect of transport.

1. Confirming Freight Through Garage

If the buyer chooses Garage’s freight service, we’ll provide a freight quote and invoice the buyer.

  • Both the apparatus and freight invoices must be paid in full before we arrange transportation.

  • Once payment clears, Garage will coordinate with our freight partners to set up transport.

2. Preparing the Apparatus (For Sellers)

Before pickup, sellers should:

  • Remove any equipment or items they do not want to include with the vehicle. Do this early, especially if removal is time-consuming.

3. Sharing Contact Information

We use the contact details on your Garage account to share with the freight carrier.

  • If those details aren’t correct or aren’t the best for coordination, it’s your responsibility to update Garage and provide a reliable phone number and email address.

4. Coordinating Pickup (For Sellers)

Once freight is confirmed, the carrier will contact the seller to schedule pickup.

  • Sellers must respond promptly and be ready on the scheduled day.

  • Sellers are responsible for loading the apparatus onto the freight truck. Carriers only transport — they do not load.

5. In Transit

After loading, the apparatus will be transported to the agreed delivery location.

6. Coordinating Delivery (For Buyers)

When the carrier contacts you for delivery:

  • Respond promptly to confirm the delivery date.

  • Be prepared to unload the apparatus upon arrival. The carrier will not handle unloading.
