Shipping equipment

How to ship equipment you sold, and what to expect when equipment you bought is on its way.

Most equipment ships with a prepaid label from Garage. Larger items on a pallet or crate ship by freight truck.

Shipping with a prepaid label

  1. Watch for your label. Once the buyer checks out, we'll email you a prepaid shipping label.

  2. Pack it securely. Use a sturdy box and plenty of padding. Reusing a box? Remove any old labels first.

  3. Drop it off within 3 business days at the carrier shown on the label.

Shipping large items by freight

  • Sellers: secure the item to a pallet or crate. You’ll handle loading, so let us know ahead of time if you need a forklift.

  • Buyers: liftgate service is included, and you’ll handle unloading. If the item won’t fit on a liftgate, let us know right away.

  • Timing: freight trucks carry several loads, so delivery can take a little longer. Tell us early if the order is time-sensitive.

Picking it up

Prefer to pick it up? Message the seller before you buy. If they agree, let us know and we’ll connect you once payment clears.

For buyers

  • Shipping costs are shown at checkout.

  • Need it by a certain date? Message the seller before you buy, since items ship straight from them.

  • Check it when it arrives. You have 3 business days after delivery to let us know about any problems. See Buyer Protection.
